Me and a friend both had the butter chicken, coconut rice and garlic naan and it was really really good, the butter chicken sauce was like a deep tomato taste it was amazing! I’ll definitely be back. The portions were pretty good (comparing to the Indian I have in town and the portions are terrible)
Price was really great!
Really nice place and lovely service ! 😁

Delicious food having been there recently for a family meal, and the wait staff are very friendly in a warm atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We've been to Aroma of India in Sturt Street a number of times recently. Recommend eating in. We like the Eggplant Masala, Biryani and Palak Paneer and the Naan has always been soft, fresh and tasty. Dishes have been consistently good, flavours are balanced and delicious. The butter chicken is pretty good too!

The decor is a little plain and the waiter (assumedly the owner) appears slightly rushed but don't let these dissuade you from a great little Indian restaurant. I opted for the onion bhaji to start, followed by the chicken tikka masala accompanied by garlic naan, and mango lassi to drink. The entree came out reasonably quick, though oddly I did not receive my lassi (despite a tray of them facing me in the fridge) until my main had arrived. The bhaji was a tiny bit overcooked but not burnt and was enjoyable. 5 pieces were more than I was expecting and I'd suggest this as a shared entree rather than for one. The Tikka was fantastic, spiced well, the chicken juicy and the naan hot and fresh, with delightful little chunks of garlic among the lavish spread of butter. Would certainly be heading back!
