"came here for a work Christmas dinner last year and was blown away with the quality of food that we received! I heard a lot of good reviews from this place and never thought much of it given the look of it (horrible I know). INCREDIBLY accommodating for vegans and incredibly kind staff.

"August 2017: Five star for good quality, quantity and taste at reasonable price. Although we visited first time to Melbourne but didn't have any restaurant that I can say better than Aroma of India, Ballarat. Chef should consider opening a branch in Melbourne !

"The acoustics are great for both small groups and families so you aren't yelling over each other. The menu is extremely good for vegetarians and vegans. I recommend the lamb options for meat eaters. It is BYO drinks like many other Indian restaraunts. Perfect for a Saturday night out!

"Decent food sizing and prices, the naan bread was absolutely delicious! However poor service. Staff had trouble placing cutlery down/pouring water. Basic stuff, some training definitely needs to be had.

"Unbelievable... waited 2 hours for a $60 order, rang twice to locate our meal..asked them if they’d waive the $6 delivery fee for the excessive 2 hour wait.. leaves us on the phone to argue audibly with his wife.. says ‘no’ and 25 mins later food arrives and we’re met by an angry delivery man who we apologised politely to but said due to the wait and refusal to waive the delivery fee we’d told the owner to cancel our delivery, the driver was pushy and rude and demanded we take the meal..we did not, we walked into town and had a meal elsewhere...I simply cannot recommend based on the service and bad business attitude over a $6 fee..how petty, a smart businessman would have immediately acquiesced to make up for the excessive delay👎👎👎order takeaway at your own peril...there are heaps of Indian restaurants to choose from.
