The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, service is good and the food tastes good too. However, I found the portions lacking when it came to the meat in the dishes. The curries had more gravy and very little meat, and the biryani had more rice than meat. Im not asking for bowl full of meat, For the price paid, I expected a reasonable amount of meat in the dishes. It’s disappointing considering the overall quantity. Additionally, I would suggest not adding capsicum to the biryani, as it changes the overall taste. Instead, consider adding little more meat to attract more customers.

We've been to Aroma of India in Sturt Street a number of times recently. Recommend eating in. We like the Eggplant Masala, Biryani and Palak Paneer and the Naan has always been soft, fresh and tasty. Dishes have been consistently good, flavours are balanced and delicious. The butter chicken is pretty good too!

Had a conversation with one of the staff member today and she explained very nicely what was wrong last time with my order I am changing my review. I am there customer from last one year and had tasted almost every dishes from there restaurant everything so delicious and they have best goat curry in Ballarat and there butter naans are also yummy. Will definitely order again.
